Focusing Our Love
Wild Horse Bistro is thrilled to be focusing our love and attention on the catering side
of our business. As of February 1st our restaurant location will be closed but fear not! we
will be catering in full force. So the next time you have a baby shower, breakfast
meeting, wedding shower, anniversary party, lunch meeting, birthday party, dinner party,
lunch party, garden party or wedding and the list goes on and on. No matter what the size, you can
have the wonderfully tasty food you came to love, anywhere you'd like to have it. We are
also happy to announce that we will be renting out our lovely little bistro for any or
all of your events. Have it catered or just use the space we already have. We'd love
for you to join us.
If it is baking that you truly desire, come visit us at the Calgary Farmers Market (Currie Barraks) Friday
through Sunday and pick up our delicious signature mixes or pre baked goodies.

Wild Horse Bistro is re-structuring:
In 2005 Wild Horse Bistro founders Amy and Jessie Smulders had a vision to start a
restaurant that was different from the rest, one that would make a difference. Wild Horse
Bistro was started with a dream, that dream was to bring Alberta's best locally grown and
produced products to our customers. It was our vision to support small business in our
community, to give back, to offer meals that were healthy, yummy and prepared with
ingredients that were grown and raised with love and care. When you walk into the Wild
Horse Bistro's Kitchen and look high on the wall, you'd find "HAPPY PEOPLE MAKE HAPPY FOOD" written in sharpie.
This has always been a constant reminder that the little things do matter. Over the years
our vision has changed and we are excited and passionate about our new direction.
Looking back over the years, the memories fill our hearts. Whether you were a regular
customer, one that stopped in from time to time or just happened upon our little Black
Diamond Bistro we thank you for the fond memories, for all the encouragement, the
feedback, kind words and laughter. Most of all we thank you for sharing our vision and
becoming part of something that was so close to our hearts.
It is our greatest hope that you will join us on our new endeavors as this is the
beginning of an exciting new journey
